Shagya-Arabians are versatile riding and driving horses, which can "serve in one horse" for all diciplins according to their intelligence, endurance, eagerness and abilities.

There a a lot of Shagya-Arabians active in riding- and driving sport all over the world, beside endurance competitions they are successfull in cross-country, jumping and dressage competitions, too. But especially with the lots of different activities you can do with one horse for your pleasure will enjoy both you and your horse: trail, trekking, western, barock, touring, show, Caprilli-tests and many more!

    Endurance competitions developed from the military necessary to move sure and fast within unknown areas. Within peacefull times people bet and compared like it is known from the rides Berlin-Wien or Strassbourgh-Rome in the last years of 19th century.

    Shagya-Arabians were made for these tasks and compared to the small number of population there is a great number of successfull Shagya-Arabians among endurance competitions and championships, especially when performance over a great number of years is asked.
